When mysterious spacecraft touch down across the globe, an elite team – led by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) – is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.

You may not recognize this film because the original title was "Story of Your Life" when it debuted at CinemaCon:

Aliens seem to constantly on the attack against Earth according to Hollywood. And here it seems to be the case too or is it? They may come in peace. This seems to bring an interesting twist to the typical Sci-Fi genre films where we are defending ourselves from an alien attack, but that is what typically makes it an interesting story.

This cast is an amazing ensemble  which can carry any film and should be worth the ticket alone. It is still early but I have my hopes high for this one and this teaser trailer is just that....a tease!
