Alleged Bryan in Court (2010)
William Jennings Bryan (Sen. Fred Thompson) argues at the famous Scopes Monkey Trial (Dayton, TN, 1925) that there is no need for expert witnesses to be spokesmen for the theory of evolution since the case at hand (the trial of Prof. John Scopes) was a simple matter -- the teacher had taught his students that mankind evolved from a lower order of animals.
