An Island Trailer (2011)
Trailer for the documentary An Island. On the small island of Als, off the Danish coast, Vincent Moon lands with the band Efterklang, which during its formation expanded to eight members. Als is a very welcoming community, as more than 200 local musicians, more or less improvised, take part in a performance an album long. A trip to an island that plays and listens, in a film that plays on the abstraction of image and sound and the concreteness with which they reverberate in the places and souls of a small Baltic community.
