Joleen (Charlize Theron) is a women stuck in yesterday...James (Nick Stahl) is a man who cannot imagine tomorrow, and Tara (AnnaSophia Robb) is a child trapped in between. Joleen just cannot take anymore so she abandons her family and James is forced to take Tara to his father's (Dennis Hopper) farm.
