Trailer for The Committee. Florida’s “Johns Committee” existed from 1956 – 1964, and their aim was to root out homosexuals from state universities. It was successful in firing or expelling more than 200 suspected gay and lesbian teachers and students. This probing doc on yet another black mark on the state’s history features two victims and one investigator speaking publicly for the first time.
