Trailer for the foreign documentary The Inheritors, which screened at the 2009 Vancouver International Film Festival. Throughout rural Mexico, child labour has become an endemic condition, a cycle of inherited struggle and poverty passed down from generation to generation. Eugenio Polgovsky (Tropic of Cancer) beautifully captures a life of hard work, in all its grinding effort and curious nobility.
