A petty thief called Superman is hired to expel the last standing house in Suzhou from its occupants: a traveling circus. There he meets Hong, a girl from the same village as him, who now works as a stripper for the traveling circus. As bulldozers move in to destroy the last house in the wasteland, Superman tries to liberate Hong and take her away with him.
