During a hot summer, Turbid follows the life of Rebecca, a 15-year old girl navigating through the confusing path of adolescence. As she struggles through the relevance of her family values and traditional religious upbringing, a difficult situation sends her on a quest that disrupts her life. Finding herself in new company with questionable influence, Rebecca’s inexperience and missteps ultimately lead her into a series of incidents that alter the lives of those around her. Turbid takes us through a hyper-realistic journey using a ground-level cinematic approach, portrayed by a unique cast of non-actors.
