Red Band Trailer for Wet Woman in the Wind. To mark the 45th anniversary of the infamous ‘Roman Porno', Nikkatsu commissioned some of Japan's leading filmmakers to make a new set of films using similar constraints. The films had to be under 80 minutes long, have at least one sex scene every 15 minutes and be shot in under a week. Director Akihiko Shiota uses these constraints to his advantage in this vigorously-paced film. Playwright Kosuke has forsaken the city and sex to live in a remote mountain lodge. He encounters a beautiful woman who decides there and then to seduce the reluctant Kosuke, setting off a very funny battle of the libidos. Working with, and playfully subverting the genre, Shiota has created a laugh-out-loud homage.
