Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) learns from Met Sergeant (Martin Freeman) that he is being promoted to Sergeant, though it is out in the country. Unhappy, Angel attempts to move his complaints up to the Inspector (Steve Coogan) and later to Chief Inspector (Bill Nighy).
