A camera crew catches up with David Brent, the former star of the fictional British series, "The Office" as he now fancies himself a rockstar on the road.

In case you did not catch it from the trailer, the film is a spin-off to The Office. In The Office Ricky Gervais' character is David Brent.

David Brent: Life on the Road will mark the 3rd film that Ricky Gervais has Written, Directed and starred in. The other two are: Cemetery Junction and Special Correspondents.

As a fan of the office that was a bit hard to watch. Not quite what I was expecting.

As far as trailers go, this one fell flat. Ricky Gervais is great at delivering edgy comedic lines and I would expect to see more of this in the film. Lets just hope that the trailer is more of a tease of this one scene and not indicative of how the whole film will go.
