Feature trailer for Sicario: Day of the Soldado provides a condensed look at the film.
The drug war on the US-Mexico border has escalated as the cartels have begun trafficking terrorists across the US border. To fight the war, federal agent Matt Graver re-teams with the mercurial Alejandro.
Everybody should have their fingers crossed that this lives up to the original, as this is only part two of what is expected to be a trilogy.
What a pleasant surprise! Though we were not expecting a third trailer for Sicario: Day of the Dead, it looks like Columbia Pictures had a little bit left in store. Though providing even more footage than what we've already seen could be risky -- especially since we pretty much know the plot at this point -- the studio played it safe by tickling our senses with only a little bit of new footage in this condensed third look.
But, besides new footage, this latest go provides a different energy as well. While the first two trailers were very dark and brooding, this is like the remix, dubstep version. Which is odd, considering Brolin's Cable in Deadpool 2 absolutely hated dubstep.
